My name is Janine Winfree. I’m an audiovisual archivist who loves to write and teach others about my passions. I am a recent graduate of the L. Jeffrey Selznick school for film preservation and a recipient of the Ray Edmondson Fellowship at the National Film and Sound Archive, which I completed in Summer 2019. My background includes internships at the Smithsonian Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage as well as the Y-12 National Security Complex. This site serves as a place to share my thoughts on archiving.
